Belline in Sharjah
AI receptionist for medical and health practices in Sharjah
A Sharjah practice is asked the consultation fee first, by somebody who works in Dubai and is booking for the whole family. Belline answers in the evening, reads back your fees from your own list, and answers nothing clinical.

Two calls a practice actually takes.
The first is the request taken for your team to confirm. The second is the call Belline refuses or hands over — which is the one you are really deciding about.
Sharjah, specifically
What a practice in Sharjah is actually answering.
Sharjah runs on two calendars at once.
The patient is in Dubai all day and free at nine
The commute out of Sharjah takes the working population out of the emirate before your doors open and returns them after they close. So the calls arranging an appointment happen in a car in traffic or at home late in the evening, and the appointment itself has to be an evening or a weekend one. A line answered only in clinic hours is answered at the one time of day the people who need it cannot ring.
The fee comes before the symptom
A patient paying for the visit themselves tends to ask the price first and precisely: the consultation, the follow-up, whether a session includes the report, what a package of physiotherapy costs. Those figures are written down at your practice and a clinician mid-session cannot come and read them out. Belline reads them exactly as written, and takes a message for anything that would depend on seeing the patient.
One caller, several appointments
Sometimes one person arranges appointments for a whole household — a check for a parent, a child's eye test, a follow-up for themselves, ideally on the same afternoon. That is a long call to take properly and an impossible one to take at a busy desk. Belline captures each name, what each one is for and when they could all come, so your team is scheduling from something complete rather than ringing back to ask who else is coming.
Two working weeks and a catchment beyond the emirate
Sharjah's own government week runs Monday to Thursday and the commuting population keeps Dubai's, so one set of patients is free on Friday and another on Saturday. Add callers from Ajman and the northern emirates for whom your practice is the nearest of its kind, and there is no day in the week when the phone can safely go unanswered. Belline reads back the hours you actually keep, on every one of those days, and takes the request regardless of which calendar the caller is on.
Languages on the line
Arabic is more present in everyday Sharjah than in Dubai, and English is still the common business language. Urdu, Hindi and Malayalam are widely spoken across the emirate's residential districts. Belline answers in English.
In an emergency
Belline gives the instruction you set for the UAE: 998 for an ambulance, or the nearest emergency department. It takes no appointment request at that moment, because an appointment would be the wrong answer.
Your own number
Keep the Sharjah number on your door and your listings. You forward the calls nobody answers; nothing about how customers reach you changes.
What comes down the line
Every call a practice gets, and what happens to it.
For a clinic, Belline takes appointment requests only, and your team confirms every one. It does not book a clinic appointment itself yet.
Appointment requests
The patient's name and number, the clinician or the service they are asking for, whether they have been before, and when they could come. For a clinic, Belline takes appointment requests only, and your team confirms every one. It does not book a clinic appointment itself yet.
Insurance, referrals and payment
Read back from the list you have written — which arrangements you hold, whether you bill direct, what a self-paying consultation costs. Whether one person's policy covers one visit is not on that list and is taken as a message with their number.
Anything clinical at all
Symptoms, results, medication, whether an appointment can wait. Belline says plainly that it cannot help with that and asks for no more. What the patient said is in the call's transcript for your team. It takes their number and marks the call for your clinical team, who go through it with them.
Courses, follow-ups and rescheduling
A patient moving one session of a course, or asking for the next in a run, is taken as a message with the appointment they believe they have — so the diary can be rearranged by somebody who can see it.
Practical questions
Hours, parking, which floor, what to bring, how long a first session runs, whether a test needs fasting where you have written that down. Your notes exactly, and a message when the answer is not in them.
Reports, results and letters
Never read out and never summarised. The request is taken with the patient's number and passed to your team, who know what has actually been released and to whom.
Emergencies
Belline stops taking a booking and follows the instruction you set — it puts the caller through to the number you gave it, or reads out the emergency instruction you wrote for your country. No appointment is taken, because an appointment would be the wrong answer at that moment.
Where it stops
The most important thing it does is know what it must not answer.
Belline gives no medical information of any kind. It does not discuss a symptom, a result, a medication or a condition, it does not say whether somebody should be seen or how soon, and it does not triage or judge how urgent a call is — that is a clinician's decision and Belline is reception. Please do not use it for medical details. Anything urgent, and anything a caller calls an emergency, goes to a person immediately: it follows the routing you set, puts the call through to the number you gave it or reads out your own emergency instruction, and takes no appointment request at all.

How it works
Set up from what you already have.
Most of the work is checking what Belline found. You decide when customers reach it.
-
Give Belline what you already have
Your website, price list or brochure. It reads them and drafts your services, prices, hours and the questions a practice gets asked every day.
-
Check what it found
Fix anything wrong, fill the gaps, and set the rules it must hold. Nothing goes live until you have read it.
-
Switch it on
Ring it yourself first. Then forward your line and paste one line of HTML into your website. Customers only reach Belline once you do.

An answering service takes a message. Belline answers the question, takes the details and tells your team what to do next.
What counts as a minute
A minute is time Belline spends on a live call with your caller — on your phone line or through the voice button on your website — from the moment it answers to the moment the call ends, rounded up to the next whole minute. Calls you make from your own test console do not count, and neither do calls cut short by a fault on our side.
What counts as a conversation
A conversation is one customer's thread in your website chat or on WhatsApp in which Belline replies at least once. Everything that customer says in the 24 hours after Belline's first reply is the same conversation. Threads your team answers without Belline do not count.
When an allowance runs out
When an allowance runs out, you choose what happens: move up to the next plan, or stop at the allowance. We tell you at 70%, 90% and 100%. Nothing is ever added to your bill without you choosing it.
7 days free

Customer stories
There is no testimonial here yet.
When a practice in Sharjah agrees to be named, its story goes in this space: what it was losing, what it changed, and what its own team says about it. Until then this space stays empty on purpose. We are not going to write a quotation nobody said, or count customers we do not have.

Questions
What operators ask us.
Will it read out our consultation fee?
Yes, exactly as you wrote it, along with what the visit includes. Sharjah callers ask early and a straight answer is usually what keeps them on the line — anything that depends on examining somebody is left to the clinician who does.
Somebody wants to book for three members of the family
It takes each of them: who, what for, and when they could come, on one message rather than three. Your team places them, because fitting a family into one afternoon is a diary problem and Belline does not touch the diary.
Can it answer on Friday, when we are open and a great many patients are not working?
It answers every day your line is forwarded to it, and it reads the hours you have set for each of them. Sharjah's two calendars mean a page like this cannot say which day is your busy one — your own hours do, and they are what the caller hears.
A caller from Ajman asks whether it is worth coming to us
It gives your hours, your address and the services you have written down, and takes the number. Whether the journey is worth making for what they need is a question for your team, and Belline is careful not to answer it by implication.
Can it tell a patient whether their insurance is accepted?
It reads back the list you have given it and nothing else. Whether a particular policy covers a particular visit, what the excess is, whether a pre-approval is needed — those are taken as a message with the patient's number, because a wrong yes on that question costs somebody money.
Is it safe for patient information?
Treat it as reception and nothing more. It should take a name, a number and when somebody would like to come, and not medical details. Every conversation arrives as a summary and a full transcript so you can read what was said, and Belline does not record the audio of the calls it answers.
