AI receptionist in Sharjah
Sharjah keeps a different week. Your front desk should keep up with it.
A four-day government week, a three-day weekend, and a great many residents commuting to Dubai. Belline answers your website and your phone on whichever calendar your customers are on. Pick your trade below — each page is about that trade specifically.
Answers in English.
Sharjah
What a phone line here is like.
Sharjah runs on two calendars at once. The emirate's own government works Monday to Thursday with a three-day weekend, while a large part of the population drives into Dubai and works Monday to Friday there. For a business on the ground in Al Majaz or Muwaileh, that means the phone rings before the commute and after it, and the weekend starts on Friday for some callers and on Saturday for others. There is no single hour in the week when you can safely leave the line unattended.
Languages on the line
Arabic is more present in everyday Sharjah than in Dubai, and English is still the common business language. Urdu, Hindi and Malayalam are widely spoken across the emirate's residential districts. Belline answers in English.
The working week
Sharjah is the outlier. Since January 2022 the emirate's government has worked a four-day week, Monday to Thursday, with a three-day weekend from Friday to Sunday — a different calendar from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in a city where a large share of residents commute to Dubai and work the Monday-to-Friday week there.
When it rings
Shaped by the commute. Sharjah residents who work in Dubai are on the road early and back late, so a local business's phone rings hardest before eight in the morning and after eight at night, with the long Friday-to-Sunday weekend busier than in either neighbouring emirate.
How people get in touch
WhatsApp-first, like the rest of the UAE, and price-aware: Sharjah callers ask what something costs earlier in the conversation than Dubai callers do. A line that cannot answer that question without fetching somebody loses the call.

Practicalities
Your number, your clock.
Keep the Sharjah number you already have — on your door, your listings and your receipts — and forward to Belline only the calls nobody picks up. New accounts here start on Gulf Standard Time, which does not change with the seasons, so an evening cut-off is the same hour all year.
Wherever in Sharjah you are, the setup is the same: one setting on the line you already have, and nothing printed on your door changes.

An answering service takes a message. Belline answers the question, takes the details and tells your team what to do next.
What counts as a minute
A minute is time Belline spends on a live call with your caller — on your phone line or through the voice button on your website — from the moment it answers to the moment the call ends, rounded up to the next whole minute. Calls you make from your own test console do not count, and neither do calls cut short by a fault on our side.
What counts as a conversation
A conversation is one customer's thread in your website chat or on WhatsApp in which Belline replies at least once. Everything that customer says in the 24 hours after Belline's first reply is the same conversation. Threads your team answers without Belline do not count.
When an allowance runs out
When an allowance runs out, you choose what happens: move up to the next plan, or stop at the allowance. We tell you at 70%, 90% and 100%. Nothing is ever added to your bill without you choosing it.
7 days free
7 days free: 30 voice or 12 video minutes and 50 text conversations, with your website chat, the voice button on the same page, WhatsApp and your phone line all switched on. No card: nothing is charged unless you choose a plan, and on day 8 without one Belline pauses until you do. Standard onboarding is free.
